ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 of BNSS., seeking orders, to direct the second respondent to give adequate police protection for the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members, by considering the representation, dated 05.02.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, CSR.No.88 of 2024 came to be registered. Despite receipt of notice, the petitioner has not turned up for enquiry and hence, the complaint was ordered to be closed.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is ready to give fresh representation.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel on either side, the petitioner is directed to give fresh representation to the second respondent and on such receipt, the second respondent police is directed 2/4

to issue notice the petitioner as well as the private respondent and conduct enquiry and take a decision within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of representation.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
