PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner in charge memo bearing Na.Ka.8847/2015, dated 26.02.2015 by passing final orders within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The instant writ petition has been filed by a Special Tashildar, seeking a mandamus directing the second respondent to conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated as against the petitioner, pursuant to a charge memo, dated 26.02.2015.
2.According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, he was issued with a charge memo on 26.02.2015 and an enquiry officer has already submitted his report to the second respondent in the year 2015 itself. However, so far, the second respondent has not passed any final orders in the disciplinary proceedings. The petitioner has addressed a representation on 16.08.2021 and 06.08.2024 to the second respondent to pass final orders in the disciplinary proceedings. Since there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed.
3.Considering the above said facts, the second respondent herein is directed to pass final orders in the departmental proceedings initiated as against the writ petitioner, pursuant to the charge memo, dated 26.02.2015, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
