ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused No.1 herein, who was arrested on 10.12.2021 for the alleged offence under Sections 294(b), 341, 506 (ii) & 385 of IPC, in Crime No.616 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that on 10.12.2021, the defacto complainant was proceeding to Budalur, at that time, the accused along with some other accused person waylaid him and demanded money from him and took away gold chain. Based on which the said case has been registered.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that this petitioner even though has been arrested and remanded in judicial custody, he got bad antecedents and involved in 7 previous cases, out of which three cases are for the offences punishable under Section 399 IPC. Hence, the petition is to be dismissed. 5.Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is of the view that if the petitioner is released on bail, there is a chance to abscond from the respondent police and tampering the prosecution witnesses. Hence, the petition filed by the petitioner seeking bail before the trial Court was dismissed. I find no reason from differ from the above said view.
