ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The writ petitioner joined the Revenue Department as Assistant in the year 2001. He became the Deputy Tahsildar in the year 2014. According to the petitioner, he should have been made a Tahsildar in the year 2011 itself. Due to mistake committed by the authorities, his promotion was delayed by more than 10 years. The petitioner has been included in the revised list of Tahsildars in Madurai District for the year 2011 vide proceedings dated 16.08.2022 issued by the District Collector, Madurai. The petitioner's name figures at Serial No. 3(A). The petitioner's counsel points out that R.B.Prabhavathy who is figuring at Serial No.6 is presently working as RDO. According to the petitioner, he must be placed on par with the juniors. In this regard, the petitioner has given a representation dated 26.08.2022.

3. The respondents 1 & 2 are directed to pass order on the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
