ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 147, 148, 448, 294(b), 324, 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Harassment of Women Act in Crime No. 331 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seek/s anticipatory bail. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.19204 of 2022 2.The case of the prosecution is that due to civil dispute, the petitioners attacked the de facto complaint with wooden log and caused grievous injuries. Hence, the compliant. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that it is case of case and counter and the petitioners are innocent and their names have been falsely implicated in this case. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the injured sustained grievous injury in his head and also leg and still in hospital and he strongly opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 5.Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent and also considering the fact that the defacto complainant has sustained grievous injury, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
