ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a mandamus to promote him to the post of Junior Assistant in the third respondent Temple.

2.When the writ petition is taken up for hearing today, learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submitted that proposal for promotion has already been made by the Joint Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, on 20.12.2024 in Na.Ka.No.2268/2020/A3 and the matter is pending before the 2/5

3.Considering this development that the proposal has already been made by the Joint Commissioner and that the Commissioner is yet to take a decision, this writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the first respondent / Commissioner to take a decision on the proposal made by the Joint Commissioner dated 20.12.2024, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
