ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to give the water and sewage connection to the petitioner's residence at Old Door.No.26, New No.19, Kajapet, Tiruchirappalli-I, based on the petitioner's application dated 19.03.2012 and subsequent representation dated 09.12.2015.

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the respondent Corporation submits that the petitioner is not the owner of the property at Door No.26, New No.19, Kajapet, Tiruchirappalli -1 and therefore water and sewage connection was not effected based on his representation. Further the petitioner also filed a civil suit in OS.No.1820 of 2008 before the District Munsif Court, Tiruchirappalli and it was dismissed and no appeal has been filed by the petitioner challenging the dismissal of the suit.

3.Recording the above submission of the learned Counsel for the respondent Corporation, this writ petition is 2/4

closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed. 28.02.2023 dsk To 1.The Commissioner, Tiruchirappalli City Corporation, Tiruchirappalli.
