For Petitioner : Mr.M.Vigneshkumar For Respondents 1 & 2 : Mr.SS.Madhavan Government Advocate (Crl. side) For Respondent No.3 : Mr.Raja Karthikeyan O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking for a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry based on the representation of the third respondent who is the husband of the petitioner. It is submitted by learned Counsel for the petitioner that there are disputes between the petitioner and the third respondent and basing on a false complaint, the police have been harassing the petitioner. 2.Learned Counsel for the third respondent by name Raja Karthikeyan submits that the petitioner has married the de-facto complainant by misrepresenting that she was not married earlier and after five [5] years of marriage, the third respondent came to know that she was already married. 2/5

Subsequently, disputes arose and the petitioner took away her daughter from the school without even informing the de-facto complainant. It is also submitted by the learned Counsel for the third respondent that the petitioner has taken 40 sovereigns of gold without even informing the third respondent. 3.Learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] submits that basing on the complaint of the third respondent, C.S.R.No.672 of 2023 has been registered and during the course of said enquiry, notice has been given but the petitioner has not been attending. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would appear for the enquiry.

4.In view of the above, the respondent Police are directed to complete the enquiry as quickly as possible not later than one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In case any cognizable offence is made out, the police are at liberty to register a case. 3/5

5.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
