For Petitioners : Mr.M.Kala Murugappan For R1 : Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar Additional Public Prosecutor O RDER This petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking for quashment of FIR in Crime No.56 of 2018, dated 19.07.2018, pending on the file of the respondent Police registered against the petitioners for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(2) I.P.C. and Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act, 1992.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that investigation has been completed in this case and other counter case and charge sheet was filed in the year 12.07.2022 by way of E.Filing bearing No.TNVR 200004702022 before the concerned Court.

3. Once investigation has already been completed and charge sheet is submitted before the concerned Court, cause does not survive for the petitioners to proceed with the case.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, with a liberty to the petitioners to challenge the charge sheet once it is taken on file by the learned Magistrate concerned. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
