O R D E R

The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to dispose of the revision Petition filed by the Petitioner in Proceedings No. COLREV-COLR - 47515/2024-B6, dated 8.11.2024. 2.MrD.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the first respondent. By consent of both parties,the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the Petitioner, he purchased the properties with an extent of 32 cents in S.No.324/3A and 18 cents of land in S.No.324/2A2 under sale deed, dated 17.7.1991 from one Sabari Muthu. However revenue records for the subject property were mutated in favour of private respondents. Therefore the Petitioner submitted a representation on 30.09.2024 before the first respondent seeking cancellation of revenue records in the name of private respondents. The first respondent in his proceedings in No. COLREV-COLR - 47515/2024-B6, dated 8.11.2024 directed the 2/5

Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruchirappalli to consider the aplication of the Petitioner and pass appropriate orders. Pursuant to the same, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruchirappalli in his proceedingts in Na.Ka.Aa3/345,2025, dated 14.7.2025 issued an enquiry notice to the Petitioner and private respondents. Thereafter there is no progress in the matter. Therefore the Petitioner has come before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.

4.It is seen from the typed set of papers that the first respondent has forwarded the application of the Petitioner to the Revenue Divisional officer, Tiruchirappalli to consider the same. According to the Petitioner, though enquiry notice has been issued by the Revenue Divisional officer, Tiruchirappalli, there is no further progress in the matter.

5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to send a reminder to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruchirappali to consider the application of the Petitioner, dated 30.09.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of the communication.

6.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
