of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to direct the third respondent to cancel the patta stand in the name of fourth respondent in Patta No.147 for S.No.193/2 and cancel the patta stand in the name of fifth respondent in Patta No.265 for S.Nos.192/10, 192/11 and the sixth respondent in joint patta No.493 for S.No.192/5 and consequedntly direct the third respondent to issue patta in Petitioner's father name in view of the registered Relinquishment Deed in Document No.1887 of 2012 at Pillur Village, Sivaganga District by considering the online patta transfer application No. 2025/0103/23/244440, dated 21.2.2025and considering the Petitioner's petition dated 9.4.2025.

By this Writ Petition, the Petitione seeks cancellation of pattas issued to the respondents 4 to 6 in relation to the properties in specific survey numbers.
2.Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the said properties were released in favour of Petitioner under Relinquishment Document bearing NO.1887/12. Inspite of the same, he states that patta was erroneously issued to the respondents 4 to 6. He seeks disposal of Patta Transfer Applications submitted in this connection.

3.Learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 3. By referring to communication dated 11.4.2025 and instructions received from Tahsildar on 8.9.2025, he submits that action would be taken within three months after conducting an enquiry.
4.In view of the above submissions of learned Government Advocate, this Writ Petition is disposed of without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter by directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the Petitioner's request within three months after providing a reasonable opportunity to the Petitioner, respondents 4 to 6, any other person interested in the relevant properties. Since the second respondent has been directed to provide a reasonable opportunity to the private respondents before taking a decision, notice to the private respondents is dispensed with. No costs.
