ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(crl.) for the respondents.
2. The petitioner's name is figuring as history sheeted rowdy in the list maintained by the third respondent. Seeking deletion of his name from the said list, this Writ Petition has been filed.
3. There is no dispute that all the cases earlier registered against the petitioner ended in acquittal. The petitioner has not come under the adverse notice of the respondents after 2015. The petitioner is said to be eking out his livelihood by running his https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.23167 of 2021 own auto. Since the petitioner is not involved in any offence for the last two years and more, retention of his name in the history sheet list is clearly unwarranted. The respondents are directed to delete the name of the petitioner from the list of the history sheeted rowdy maintained by the third respondent.
4. The Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
