PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1, 3 and 4 to remove the encroachment, made by the 7th respondent in the common pathway running in S.No.1762/1B, Gudalur (South) Village, Uthamapalayam Taluk, Theni District in the light of the direction given by the 1st respondent in Ref.No. ne.K. f. vz;.M4/51040/2022, dated 16.08.2023.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner made a submission that the encroachments have already been removed and therefore, the grievances 2/4

of the petitioner are redressed and the official respondents are bound to ensure that no further encroachments are made in the Government lands.

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5 made a submission that a decision has been taken to develop a park for the benefit of the people in that locality.

3. Thus, no further adjudication is required in the Writ Petition and the same stands disposed of. No costs.
