PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the first respondent Police to give appropriate Police protection for life of the petitioner while fencing his property in Survey No.79/12C, of Kuttudankadi Village, Thoothukudi District. O RDER This petition has been filed to direct the first respondent Police to give appropriate Police protection to the petitioner.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first and second respondent Police would submit that during the pendency of this petition, the respondent Police conducted the enquiry and closed the case, since the case is civil in nature. He would further submit that nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.

3. Recording the above said submission, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to work out the remedy before the concerned Civil Court itself. 23.01.2024 Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes/No TSG 2/4
