ORDER
The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to issue a joint patta in the name of the legal heirs of the petitioner's father, Ponnan, S/o.Subban, in respect of the property situated in Survey No.3/1, Kambiliyampatti Village, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.05.2025. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.V.Karuna, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.According to the petitioner, the property situated in Survey No. 3/1, with an extent of 2 acre, in Kambiliyampatti Village, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District, was originally possessed by the petitioner's grandfather, Subban. After his death, the same was enjoyed by the petitioner's father. After death of petitioner's father, his legal representatives, namely, the wife and the children of Ponnan including the petitioner have been in possession and enjoyment of the said property. Based on the long possession, the petitioner submitted a representation on 23.05.2025, seeking issuance of patta in the name of the legal heirs of Ponnnan. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.
5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.05.2025 and pass final orders on
its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
