Respondent Prayer :- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to accept registration of the Settlement Deed, dated 17.10.2022, executed by the petitioner in favour of his wife Talat Fatima, W/o. Nazeer Ahmed, in respect of A1 schedule property in Survey No.13/1, measuring an extent of 1609 sq.ft. in D.No.20 F and G in Subramaniyar Koil 3rd Street, Subramanyapuram, Kottapattu Village, Trichy Taluk, Trichy District, as per the Online Application No.TP/135217845/2022, within the period to be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner has prayed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to accept the settlement deed, dated 17.10.2022, executed by him in favour of his wife Talat Fatima in respect of A1 Schedule property in 1/4

S.No.13/1, measuring an extent of 1609 sq.ft. in D.No.20 F and G, situated in Subramaniyar Koil 3rd Street, Subramaniyapuram, Kottapattu Village, Trichy Taluk and District, as per Online Application No.TP/135217845/2022, for registration, within a time frame.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submits that the respondent has obtained a letter stating that HSD Patta has been obtained in the name of one Hany @ Mohamed Hany in respect of the land in S.No.167/3, T.S.No.110 and therefore, a letter has been sent to the Tahsildar East, Tiruchirappalli, for knowing the veracity of the said document. After knowing the veracity of the said document, the petitioner's document would be registered.

Recording the above said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent to register the document of the petitioner after verifying the genuineness of the HSD Patta, as expeditiously as possible. No costs.
