praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing respondents to grant permission for the petitioner's husband M.Mohamed Iliyaz, S/o. Mohamed Hussain remand prisoner in Central Prison, Madurai in Crime No. 213/2022, on the file of the Dindigul Town South Police Station for his treatment for the disease of "lapresse pustular psoriasis" in TLM Hospital Thayapuram, Manamadurai, Ramanathapuram District or in any other Hospital by considering the petitioner's representation dated 18.10.2022 and for other such reliefs, within the period stipulated by this Court. This writ petition has been filed for a direction to grant permission to the husband of the petitioner, who is a remand prisoner in Central Prison, Madurai and to release him from the jail in order to undergo treatment for "Lapresse pustular psoriasis" a skin disease. 2/5

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on written instructions received from the Prison Hospital, Central Prison, Madurai, submitted that there was some skin disease suffered by the detenu and he was admitted to the Central Prison hospital. The report produced before us shows that the detenu was suffering from psoriasis and he was given treatment and he has been discharged after he recovered from the disease. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that the detenu has been directed to be produced before the Medical Board in January '2023 for further assessment.

4.In view of the above, it is clear that the detenu has been properly taken care by the prison hospital and there is no requirement for the present to give any further direction to the respondents to take the detenu for treatment to some other hospital. The petitioner can wait till the detenu is further assessed by the Medical Board during January '2023. If there is any further deterioration, it is always left open to the petitioner to make a representation to the Superintendent of Prison, Madurai, the fourth respondent herein and the same shall be considered by the 4th respondent depending upon the situation 3/5

prevailing at that point of time.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of.
