ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a mandamus directing the second respondent to sanction the loan amount under the Entrepreneur Development Programme.

2.Learned Counsel for the second respondent submitted that the petitioner has not produced proper surety and therefore, his application was not considered at the relevant point of time. 3.Learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that under the TAHDCO scheme, as per the guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India, no security 2/4

/ surety is required for the loan amount upto Rs.10,00,000/-. Therefore, the submission made by the second respondent is not proper. 4.Learned Counsel for the second respondent, in reply, submitted that they are ready to consider the petitioner's application in the light of the existing norms, within a stipulated time frame. 5.Considering this representation made by the second respondent Bank, this writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application, as per the prevailing norms and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
