PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to expedite the enquiry in his proceedings Na.Ka.a4.10255/2024 dated 10.07.2024 within time stipulated by this Court as per the petitioner's representation dated 28.09.2024. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by G.ARUL MURUGAN, J.) The relief sought for by the writ petitioner is to direct the second respondent to expedite the enquiry.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that final enquiry notice was issued vide letter dated 21.08.2025 by fixing the date of enquiry on 09.09.2025. Thus, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Paramakudi will conclude the enquiry proceedings and pass final orders within a period of eight weeks. 2/4

In view of the said submissions, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Paramakudi to complete the enquiry and pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
