ORDER
The petitioner herein, being aggrieved by the unconstitutional action of the Village Panchayat, which has ex-communicated him for refusing to hand over a portion of land, has filed this Writ Petition seeking Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate legal action against the respondents 4 to 8, who have ex-communicated the petitioner from the Village. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.5099 of 2016 2.When the matter is taken up for final disposal, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that subsequent to the filing of this Writ Petition, the respondent police has registered a case in Crime No.76 of 2016 on 31.03.2016, pursuant to the complaint given by the petitioner herein and after investigation, final report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pabanasam. The learned Judicial Magistrate took the case on file and assigned S.T.C.No.650 of 2016. Later, in the course of trial, the parties have compromised and the case was closed under Section 255 of Cr.P.C. on 29.04.2019. 3.In view of the abovesaid subsequent development in this case, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition.
