PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the Respondent No.1 and 2 not to harass the petitioner and his family members with the false complaint lodged by the 3rd respondent under the guise of enquiry.

S For R1 and R2 :Mr.SS.Madhavan Government Advocate (crl.side) O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of a complaint given by the respondent No.3. 2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there were transactions between the petitioner and the respondent No.3 in respect of a chit. The petitioner stated to have paid the entire amount to be paid to the respondent No.3. However, the respondent No.3 has allegedly filed a complaint, basing on which the police have been harassing the petitioner, thereby sought for suitable directions.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that no complaint is pending against the petitioner filed by the respondent No.3. However, he submits that CSR.No.482 of 2023 has been registered by the Dindigul Police on a complaint given by the respondent No.3 against the petitioner and since the 2/4
petitioner is in the jurisdiction of the second respondent, he was called for enquiry and subsequently, he was not called in any enquiry. 4.Since there is no complaint pending against the petitioner in the respondent police station, no further directions can be given in this case. Accordingly, this Petition is disposed of.
