[Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to initiate action to call for the open tender for auctioning 18 shops situated at Chekkanoorani bus stand immediately based on petitioner's representation, dated 30.08.2023 and within a time frame.

2. Heard Mr.K.K.Samy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. By consent of both sides, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that even after the contract period is over, the third respondent did not take any action to auction the 18 shops situated at Chekkanoorani bus stand.

5. Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondents are going to conduct public auction soon after 12.10.2023. The said submission is recorded as an undertaking.

6. In such view of the matter, this Court is of the view that no further adjudication is necessary in this Writ Petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
