PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to survey and fix the boundary in the petitioner's land in Survey No.77/2A1A, Patta No.3946/2011 to an extent of 5 cents situated at Thanakkankulam, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai in the light of the petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2016 within the time limit fixed by the Court.

This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus directing the respondent to survey and fix the boundary in the petitioner's land in Survey No.77/2A patta No.3946 of 2011 to an extent of five cents situated at Thanakkankulam, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai by considering his representation dated 19.02.2016. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner has paid necessary fee for surveying and measuring the above lands in the year 2011, the respondents have not acted upon. Therefore, the petitioner has submitted his representation on 19.02.2016 and the same was not considered. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents produced a written instruction, which he has received from the Tahsildar, Thiruparangundram that the petitioner has purchased the land in Survey No.77/2 from one Arumugam S/o 2/4

Oorathevar in the year 1986 vide Doc No.3096 /1986 and as per his document, the property was measured and also subdivided as S.No. 77/16 and patta No.3946 to an extent of 0.01.50 acres and thereafter this petitioner has sold the property to one Samuthirapandian S/o Nagarajan in the year 2019 vide document No.6195/19 and that Samuthirapandian has also sold the land to one Mayavel S/o Thangamaya Thevan.

4. Recording the written instructions produced by the learned Government Advocate and in view of the subsequent developments, this writ petition is closed as no further order is required. No Costs.
