This Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the third respondent police to conduct "peaceful demonstration' on 27.09.2024 (05.00pm) at Valliyoor (any one of the Earmarked Venue) seeking for the attention of the State Government with regard to development and welfare measure for the palm tree farmers as well as "Tamil Nadu Paramarathu Thozhilalar Nala Vaariyam" on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 12.09.2024 and 19.09.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that the permission was granted and the protest was conducted on 27.09.2024 and as such nothing survives for further adjudication. 2/4
