2.Nothing survives in this writ, since based on the decree passed in the civil suit, the petitioner herein sought for police protection for conducting the temple festival slated to be held on 28.02.2016. The petitioner apprehending that the rival group has proposed to conduct the same festival a week earlier that is on 21.03.2016, he has given a representation to the police to give protection. Now, it is stated that the festival was conducted as per the scheduled and for the past four years, there is no dispute. Hence, this writ petition has become infructuous. 3.Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. This Court has no doubt that the police will take appropriate action, if any law and order issue crops up in future regarding conduct of the temple festival. No costs.
