ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a writ of mandamus, forbearing the respondent from altering the conditions of the services of the petitioners' pending disposal of the petitions filed under Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Industrial Establishment (Conferment of Permanent Status To Workmen) Act, 1981.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the applications filed by the petitioners under Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Industrial Establishment (Conferment of Permanent Status To Workmen) Act, 1981 were already disposed of by the concerned Assistant Commissioner of Labour (Enforcement), by order dated 23.03.2023 allowing the applications filed by the petitioners and the said orders dated 23.03.2023 are the subject matters of challenge in a writ petition before this Court. 2/4

3. In the light of the above, the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous and this writ petition is accordingly dismissed as having become infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
