09.05.2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 5(l), 5(k) and Section 6 of the POCSO Act and Section 363, 376(3) of IPC, in Crime No.14 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the victim girl is having mental retardation and is aged about 14 years. The defacto complainant is cousin sister of the victim girl. The petitioner herein, who is aged about 80 years had committed sexual assault upon the victim girl. Hence, the complaint. 3.Heard both sides.

4.Considering the nature of the allegations that the petitioner and the other accused have molested and had penetrative sexual assault on the victim child with mental retardation, this is not a fit case for enlarging the petitioner on bail.
