Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned proceedings dated 24.02.2016 in M.C.No.26/2016/A3 of the first respondent and to quash the same, consequently directing the respondents to allow the petitioners worship in Sri Muthalamman Temple in Thumpakulam Village, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District, during the Vaigasi festival on 14.05.2016 to 22.05.2016 conducted by the village people.
