Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 of furnish the audit report for the year 2012 to 2018 by considering the representation given by the petitioner dated 03-07-2019.

Mr.P.Kannithevan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned counsel takes notice for the respondents 3 and 4. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2.The petitioner has sought for certain information under the Right to Information Act in the year 2018, pursuant to which, the respondents have provided the information after receipt of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P(MD)No.23472 of 2019 costs towards supply of documents. Thereafter, on 03.07.2019, the petitioner has sent a representation dated 03.07.2019 to the respondents 1 and 2 stating that complete information was not given to him. In view of the inaction on the part of the appellate authority, the petitioner is before this Court. 3.In fact, against the action or inaction of the appellate authority, the petitioner is having an alternative remedy of approaching the State Information Commission. Without approaching the State Information Commission, the petitioner cannot directly approach this Court and therefore, the writ petition is not maintainable.
4.At this juncture, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel for the respondents 3 and 4 would submit that the information as sought by the petitioner was already furnished to him, but, it was returned with an endorsement as 'insufficient address'. The cover containing the information sought by the petitioner has, this day, handed over to his counsel. 5.Since the information has already been already furnished to the petitioner, no further orders are required in this writ petition.
