(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The illegal river sand quarrying has been stopped by the Government.
2.If at all any such illegal sand quarrying is noticed, the concerned authorities are bound to initiate appropriate action and prosecute the offenders. The petitioner is also at liberty to submit a complaint if any illegal sand quarrying is going on at present, despite the fact that the Government has stopped such illegal activities.

3.With these directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
