ORDER

The petitioner, with a grievance that certain corrections have been made during the UDR survey, has submitted an application before the District Revenue Officer and has filed this writ petition for a mandamus directing the first respondent / District Revenue Officer to conclude the proceedings within a stipulated time limit.

2.Learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that on the appeal filed by the petitioner, the District Revenue Officer has 2/4

initiated enquiry and has directed the Tahsildar to submit a report. The Tahsildar is yet to submit his report. He further submitted that the enquiry would be concluded within a reasonable time.

3.In view of the above submission, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent / District Revenue Officer to conclude the enquiry proceedings and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, the fourth respondent and other interested parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Index :
