O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The writ petitioner was the Secretary of the third respondent Co-operative Society. He reached the age of superannuation on 30.06.2022. His grievance is that till date his terminal benefits have not been disbursed. He has therefore given a representation to the first respondent.

3. The stand of the first respondent is that some proceedings under Section 82 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act 1983 are presently pending.

4. The petitioner's counsel would however controvert the said statement. According to him, a mere recommendation 2/4

3 W.P.(MD)NO.24748 OF 2022 has been made by the third respondent as on date and there is no proceeding pending.

5. Be that as it may, the first respondent is directed to pass order on the petition mentioned representation on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
