Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent has produced the proceedings of the Director of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption dated 21.02.2022, wherein it is stated that departmental action has been initiated against this petitioner and further criminal prosecution has been dropped.

2. In view of the above said proceedings, nothing survives for further consideration in this matter. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
