Prayer in Habeas Corpus Petition(MD) No. . 176/ 2017 : This Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Art.226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to produce the detenu by name Arul @ Arulvendan, s/o. Esakkimuthu, aged about 43 years now lodged and confined at Palayamkottai Central Prison before this Honourable Court under Tamil Nadu Prison Rules 1993 and in accordance with law . 1/3

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by T.RAJA., J) This Contempt Petition has been filed to initiate contempt proceedings against the Contemnors/Respondents and punish them for their wilful disobedience of the order of this Court in H.C.P.(MD) No.176 of 2017 dated 26.03.2018.

2.Today, Mr.K.Dinesh Babu, learned Additional Public Prosecutor placed on record an order in G.O.(D) No.1403 Home (Prison-IV) Department dated 21.11.2019 and submitted that the request of the petitioner has been properly considered and rejected. 3.In view of the same, the Contempt Petition fails and the same is dismissed.
