Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.DHAMODHARAN.M.P., Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.R.SURESHKUMA, Government Advocate (Crimal Side) on behalf of the 1st Respondent, the court made the following order:- During morning mentioning time, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought for extension of stay in the order passed in Crl.M.P(MD)No.2980 of 2021 in Crl.O.P(MD)No.5173 of 2021, dated 09.04.2021.

CRL MP(MD) No.14035 of 2022 3.The learned Special Judicial Magistrate, Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Land Grabbing Cases, Madurai, is directed to proceed with the trial in C.C.No.4 of 2015, since the stay had not been extended from the year 2021. The petition in Crl.M.P(MD) No.14035 of 2022 is filed seeking extension of stay granted in Crl.M.P(MD)No.2980 of 2021 in Crl.O.P(MD)No.5173 of 2021, was not at all disposed of due to the non co-operation of the petitioner. The subject matter relates to trial in C.C.No.4 of 2015, on the file of the learned Special Judicial Magistrate, Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Land Grabbing Cases, Madurai. What are all stated by the petitioner in the criminal original petition can be agitated before the trial Court as valuable defence.
4.The learned Special Judicial Magistrate, Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Land Grabbing Cases, Madurai, is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.4 of 2015, within a reasonable period of time of two months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, this criminal miscellaneous petition stands dismissed.
