PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner any suitable post on compassionate ground based on the earlier application and the representation sent on 04.11.2022.

ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner to any suitable post on compassionate ground based upon his representation, dated 04.11.2022. 2.According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, his father who was working as Office Assistant in the Educational Department had passed away on 16.12.2002 while in service. At the time of death of his father, the petitioner was three years old and therefore, his mother had approached the respondents, for suitable posting, the same was not considered. 3.After attaining majority and completing degree, the petitioner has given a representation on 04.11.2022 to consider his name for compassionate appointment. Since the same has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

4.Considering the above said facts, the third respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner dated 04.11.2022 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
