ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 14.07.2018, wherein the petitioner has sought for issuance of patta in his favour with respect to the subject property.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he purchased the subject property by virtue of a registered sale deed, dated 28.06.2017. Thereafter, the petitioner made an application seeking for patta in his name. Since the same was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate direction.

3. Heard Mr.B.Sukumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD).No.19421 of 2018 shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 14.07.2018, on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the second respondent finds that any third party is also seeking for any claim over the property, notice shall be issued and opportunity shall be given to them.

5. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the second respondent along with the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

6. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
