ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(crl.) appearing for the respondents.
2. The petitioner is a minor. She is figuring as an accused in Crime No.421 of 2021 registered on the file of the Royappanpatti Police Station. The petitioner wants to surrender before the Juvenile Justice Board. Her only request is that her bail petition should be considered on the same day. Since obtaining of the report from the probationary officer may take time, the board is unable to dispose of the bail petition on the same day of surrender. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3. The petitioner undertakes to appear before the Juvenile Justice Board on 10.01.2022. The second respondent is directed to intimate the Juvenile Justice Board about the petitioner's proposed surrender, so that the relevant reports and materials can be gathered well in advance. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the Juvenile Justice Board on 10.01.2022. The said surrender shall be accepted by the Juvenile Justice Board. The petitioner's bail petition shall also be disposed of on the same day on merits and in accordance with law.
4.With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
