This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents Police to conduct preliminary enquiry basing on a complaint given by the petitioner on 27.08.2023 against her husband and her in-laws in respect of a matrimonial dispute.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the official respondents submits that the complaint given by the petitioner is registered as C.S.R.No.273 of 2023 and the enquiry is being initiated and the Police requests short time to complete the investigation.

3. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents Police to complete the enquiry in C.S.R.No.273 of 2023 as expeditiously as possible not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
