PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issuance a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents No.1 and 2 to take necessary steps to measure the petitioner's land and fix the four boundaries bearing in S.F.Nos.313, 314/1A, 314/1C, 314/2 and 316/4 total extent of 5 Acre 62 Cents situated at E.Pudukkottai Village, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District, with necessary police protection, based on the petitioner's application dated 26.09.2022 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents No.1 and 2 to take necessary steps to measure the petitioner's land and fix four boundaries bearing in S.F.Nos. 313, 314/1A, 314/1C, 314/2 and 316/4 total extent of 5 Acre 62 Cents situated at E.Pudukkottai Village, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District, with necessary police protection, based on the petitioner's application dated 26.09.2022.

The grievance of the petitioner is that she has made an application before the respondents 1 and 2 on 26.09.2022, seeking to measure her land in S.F.Nos.313, 314/1A, 314/1C, 314/2 and 316/4 to an extent of 5 acres 62 cents situated at E.Pudukkottai Village, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District. Since no action was taken, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that already date was fixed for measuring the petitioner's land.

4. Considering the above said submission, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2022 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this 3/5

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
