O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose the Patta Appeal dated 09.06.2022 in Na.Ka.No.4560/2022/A1.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has preferred a patta appeal before the first respondent on 09.06.2022, along with all necessary documents and the same was taken on file as per Na.Ka.No.4560/2022/A1. Further, he has 2/5

also given a representation dated 12.10.2022 to the first respondent in person, to complete the proceedings as early as possible. But the first respondent has not taken any steps to dispose of the appeal. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

3. Heard Mr.T.Vadivelan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Kannan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

4. Considering the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 09.06.2022, on merits and in accordance with law, after holding an enquiry and giving an opportunity to the parties concerned, within a period of twenty weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
