ORDER

This writ petition is filed challenging the appointment order, dated 19.02.2016, issued to the 3rd respondent.

2. Heard Mr.A.Joel Paul Antony, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Thambidurai, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents 1 & 2. Perused the material documents available on records.

3. The petitioner has applied for the post of Non-Meal Organiser. Since she was an unsuccessful candidate, she has preferred this writ petition challenging the appointment order of the 3rd respondent.

4. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that the petitioner was only 20 years old at the time of recruitment process and therefore, the petitioner was not considered. For any appointment, the candidate should have completed 21 years of age. Since the petitioner is below the age of consideration, the petitioner is not entitled to claim the post. 2/4

5. In view of the aforesaid reasons, this writ petition stands dismissed. No Costs.
