ORDER

The petitioner claims that he is the owner of the land in Survey No.30/5B3 to an extent of 0.13.0 hectares, situated at Vilankulathur Village, Mudhukulathur Taluk, Ramanathapuram District. With a grievance that the adjacent land owner is attempting to encroach his land, he submitted a representation dated 05.02.2018 to the respondents requesting them to survey the said land. Since there was no response on the said representation, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the land sought to be surveyed belongs to another person and in the absence of any document to prove the title of the petitioner, they cannot survey the land.

3. In view of the said submission, this writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh application along with the relevant documents. No costs.
