This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents No.1 and 2 to survey the land comprised in Survey No.25/1A2A under Patta No.1748 situated at Vagaikulam Village, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District and to demarcate the four boundaries, by considering the petitioner's application dated 18.10.2022.

The case of the petitioner is that he has made an application to the respondents on 18.10.2022, seeking to survey and demarcate four boundaries in Survey No.25/1A2A situated at Vagaikulam Village, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District. But till date no action was taken by the respondents. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 2/5

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

Considering the above said facts, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's application dated 18.10.2022 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
