PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the Inspector of Police, Cyber Crime Wing-III, Theni, Theni District, the 2nd Respondent herein, to expedite the investigation in Crime No.5 of 2021 pending on his file and to file the final report within the stipulated period as prescribed by this Court.

O RDER This criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to he Inspector of Police, Cyber Crime Wing-III, Theni, Theni District, the 2nd Respondent herein, to expedite the investigation in Crime No.5 of 2021 pending on his file and to file the final report within the stipulated period as prescribed by this Court.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that after completing the investigation in this case, final report was filed before the concerned Court and the same was taken cognizance in C.C.No.412 of 2023.

3.In view of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), the matter has become infructuous. If the petitioner aggrieved by the contents of the final report, he can workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings.

4.With the above said liberty, this criminal original petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
