PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the Respondents to produce the Petitioner's son/deceased mobile phone before the Judicial Magistrate, Rameshwaram in Crl.MP.No. 3442 of 2022 and further direct the Trial Court for speedy disposal of the case in Crl.MP.No.3442 of 2022 on the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Rameshwaram.

This Criminal Original Petition had been filed to direct the Respondents to produce the mobile phone of the Petitioner's son/deceased before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Rameshwaram in Crl.MP.No.3442 of 2022 and to direct the Trial Court for speedy disposal of the case in Crl.MP.No.3442 of 2022.

2.It is the submission of the learned Counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner's son died in suspicious circumstances. The Respondents had closed the case as accidental death. The Petitioner had filed Crl.M.P.No. 3442 of 2022 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Rameshwaram, seeking the mobile phone of her son. The Petitioner had filed the protest petition regarding the closure report of the Respondents. When the protest petition is pending, the Petitioner had filed Crl.O.P.(MD) No.19877 of 2022 seeking direction against the Respondents to produce the mobile phone of her son/deceased and to disposal of the case in Crl.MP.No.3442 of 2022.

3.In the light of the above, the Respondents are directed to produce the mobile phone of the Petitioner's son/deceased before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Rameshwaram. The learned Judicial Magistrate, Rameshwaram is directed to dispose of Crl.M.P.No.3442 of 2022 after conducting enquiry within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
