ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/ Accused apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences under Sections 294(b), 308 of IPC and 27(2), 29(a) of Arms Act, in Crime No.216 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 1/3

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 07.08.2023, at about 3 p.m., when the defacto complainant was riding his two wheeler, a car was driven in a rash and negligent manner. When the defacto complainant has questioned the driver of the four wheeler, some persons came down from the car and threatened the defacto complainant by showing pistol, made a shot in order to threaten the defacto complainant and used filthy language. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent, she has been falsely implicated in this case and she has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. The petitioner is a cancer patient and undergoing treatment at the Adayar cancer institute.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the application of the co-accused was dismissed.

5. Considering the grievous nature of the offences that he has used the unlicensed gun, this Court is not inclined to grant relief to the petitioner. I find no reason to entertain this petition.
