PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the proceedings in AA1/5137/2013, dated 20.02.2015 of the Tahsildar, Aravakurichi, third respondent herein and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Office Assistant at Inankunar Village, Aravakurichi Taluk, Karur District, based on the interview conducted by the respondents on 14.11.2014 in the place of fourth respondents. ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the selection of the fourth respondent as Village Assistant.

2. When the writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the fourth respondent was working in the said Village Assistant post for the past five years. In the meanwhile, the respondents have called for a fresh recruitment 2/4

process which will be conducted in December 2022. The petitioner is at liberty to participate in the upcoming selection process i.e., December 2022. The petitioner's candidature shall be considered in accordance to law.

3. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 12.10.2022 Index :
