ORDER

This writ petition is filed by the President of the village panchayat, namely; Unniyur Village Panchayat.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that the 4th respondent being BDO is interfering in the functions of the President. The President being a elected member, he has certain powers and responsibilities. But, the 4th respondent is interfering and it is beyond the power of the BDO. This writ petition was filed in the year 2016. The petitioner wants to determine his power as a President of the Village panchayat in this writ petition.

3. Due to efflux of time the petitioner is not a President now. The 4th respondent has also retired from service. Therefore, question raised in this writ petition is left open.
