Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4. 2.The petitioner alleges that the fifth respondent had indulged in illicit quarrying.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader on instructions from the Tahsildar, Avudaiyarkoil states that the fifth respondent was not given any permission to remove the gravel from the petition mentioned water body. It is also stated that as on date the water body is full. We are satisfied with the instructions given by the learned Special Government Pleader. 4.This writ petition is dismissed accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
